Nemcsak a használatarányos útdíj bevezetése, hanem a növekvő üzemanyagárak is egyre nagyobb terhet jelentenek a buszos vállalkozásoknak.
Az […] more...

Fleet management

Telematics is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses numerous special areas (e.g. telecommunication, road haulage, traffic safety, various vehicle technologies etc.), it means the boundary point between telecommunication and informatics developments for i-Cell.

Vehicle tracking, becoming part of fleet management, is already well beyond the simple vehicle positioning, due to its implementation in other integrated systems.

Fleet management has become in recent years a strength in operating companies in an optimised, efficient and cost-effective manner, as beyond satellite-based vehicle location it makes the operative work  in many fields more efficient: due to the continuous development of vehicle tracking system. The fleet management has become an effective tool for controlling, in addition to its important role in remote fleet control, in driver monitoring and in performing rapid analysis   of data coming from vehicles ( fuel consumption, cargo bay temperature).

Not to mention the fact that it makes the administrative processes much easier. The GPS-based vehicle tracking of i-Fleet is based on modules, so we put the solution tailored to your company together like a LEGO form, in this way all of our partners- whether we speak about private entrepreneurs, a company running lorry or truck fleet or about a  company from the agricultural sector- have their own customer- specific system.

In addition to the vehicle tracking function,  fuel level management is the best-known module that enables our partners to check online the quantity of fuels consumed so they can achieve larger savings.

Did you know that…

… the foundation of tracking, satellite-based positioning, today’s GPS systems was laid down in 1973? By 24 Navstar satellites that orbit Earth every 12 hours at a height of 20.200 killometers. and from which at least 4 satellites are always visible from any point on the Earth at any given instant so the terrestrial position can be determined using the triangulation method. This GPS tracking technology with a history going back over 40 years forms the basis for the today’s modern vehicle tracking, such as of the i-Fleet system. The corresponding map is an essential criterion for the usability of GPS systems, for this very reason we provide our clients with the most modern maps, they can choose- among others-  between different maps of Google.

Toll system

Till the mid 1990s the motorways of Hungary the vehicles could use motorways of Hungary free of charge. The so-called toll collecting by gates was subsequently introduced, but around the turn of the millenium this system was replaced by the e-vignette system that entitles the user to make use of the entire road network within the period of validity of the vignette.

From 1 January 2008 the windscreen sticker system ceased to exist, vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight not exceeding 3.5 tons are entitled to use motorways in Hungary with a pre-purchased  e-vignette.

The HU-GO distance based electronis toll system was introduced on 1 July 2013 for the use of  a total of 6513 km of Hungarian motorways, then the toll obligation was extended for the use of 6500 km of Hungarian speed highway and main roads. This applied to all cargo vehicles and towing vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight exceeding 3.5 tons, tractors (including semitrailer towing vehicles), and all articulated vehicle combinations consisting of such a motor vehicle and a towed trailer or semi-trailer.

Our company wishes to make this toll obligation much easier, therefore we provide our clients with a so-called plug&play OBU S550 device that requires no installation and can be connected to the cigar lighter. For more information on the device and to purchase please click here: OBU S550

The so-called regional stickers were introduced on 1. January 2015 for categories D1,D2,B2 and U, in addition to stickers valid for the whole country relating to vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. The regional stickers entitle the users to use all toll roads of the region in question for one year.

Passenger cars are entitled to use toll roads at unchanged prices also according to the previous categories.

Complex systems

The mobile payment or mobile wallet is a payment service that is used with the help of mobile devices. People paying with mobile phone pay for the various services, physical or digitally distributed goods with their mobile phone instead of a bank card or cash. The idea of paying with a portable, personal electronic mean is not new, but due to the technical development it has only recently become widely applicable.

The development of the mobile devices ( e.g. smartphones) has made it possible to produce more complex mobile phones with ever-increasing technical capabilities that are getting cheaper and cheaper and thus are being used by more and more people. As a result of the development of the communication technology, ever greater bandwidth and, as a consequence, more data are available for the devices

The mobile payment has fundamentally changed and facilitated the transaction processes.
